Noja de Mate started with a simple ritual — sharing mate with friends — and grew into something we wanted to bring home properly. Every bag of yerba mate we sell is sourced directly from small organic farms in Uruguay, picked and dried the traditional way, with nothing artificial added.
The gourds are a different kind of craft entirely. Each one is hand-stitched in leather by individual artisans, which means no two are exactly alike — the same way no two cups of mate ever taste quite the same.
We’re not the growers, and we’re not the leatherworkers. We’re the ones who found them, trusted them, and wanted to share what they make with you.
